#Hottrendclothing Fashion LLC Many years ago, I started wearing women’s clothing exclusively – something I still do today. I often go shopping for women’s clothing – I know dozens of people who work in retail and I find it relaxing to shop and try on clothes (I know – this isn’t so common :). I can easily spend six hours at a time at a retail store trying on the latest fashions and styles. If I’m shopping online, I always look at the size charts provided by each garment manufacturer because the generic charts I’m including here don’t always apply. Some designers make their garments intentionally smaller than others – Ralph Lauren and J. Crew come to mind as two examples – and there are many others too. Other designers make their garments intentionally oversized – Free People is one example and Not Your Daughter’s Jeans is another. Both of these brands make their garments larger than most others (and Free People makes many of their garments MUCH larger than others).
#Hottrendclothing Fashion LLC #1 – First, the chest and shoulder span measurements are critical factors. Most people don’t measure their shoulder span which is the distance from the end of one shoulder to the other. This measurement along with your chest measurement will ultimately determine whether or not you’re in the ballpark when considering a woman’s size if you’re a male. #2 – Your chest measurement is the other critical factor. If you have a large chest size, that will automatically make your sizing larger in women’s tops. If you have both broad shoulders and a big chest, you may be looking at sizes like XL, XXL or even XXXL. #3 – Your waist measurement, although important, is significantly LESS important than your chest measurement. This is true unless you have a fairly large stomach. If a woman’s T-shirt is oversized – which is currently in fashion for some brands – then I would wear a woman’s Large in a trendy oversized T-shirt.
